Empathy. Understanding. Transformation.
My Holistic Approach: Mind, Body & Nutrition
In our sessions, you’ll have a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we’ll work through the challenges you’re facing — whether it’s sensory overload, social anxiety, or improving your self-esteem. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and empower you to live a fulfilling, empowered life.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University and have spent over two decades exploring the profound mind-body connection through yoga, meditation, breathwork, and nutrition. As a certified 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher, I integrate these practices into my therapy sessions, offering clients powerful tools to regulate emotions, reduce stress, and cultivate inner peace.
I also recognize the critical link between nutrition and mental health. What we eat directly impacts our mood, energy levels, and cognitive function. I educate clients on how gut health, blood sugar balance, and nutrient-dense foods can support emotional well-being. Through a holistic, whole-body approach, I help individuals make small, sustainable changes to their diet and lifestyle that can significantly improve mental clarity, mood stability, and overall resilience.
By incorporating breathwork (pranayama), guided meditation, somatic awareness, and mindful nutrition, I help my clients develop deeper self-awareness, emotional balance, and a greater sense of well-being.
About Me
Hi, I am Marina, a therapist dedicated to helping autistic adults navigate life with clarity, confidence and self-acceptance. I specialize in working with individuals who have received a late or adult-onset autism diagnosis, as well as those who suspect they might be neurodivergent but aren’t sure where to start. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood or overwhelmed by sensory sensitivities, social situations, or workplace challenges, you’re not alone — and I’m here to help.
I understand that receiving a late diagnosis can be both a relief and a challenge. It can be difficult to know where to begin once everything in your life suddenly makes sense. My goal is to help you process this new information, develop effective coping strategies, and create a life that feels authentic to who you are.
I incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), hypnotherapy, and mindfulness techniques into our work together. These powerful approaches help you heal from past trauma, reduce anxiety, and shift limiting beliefs. I believe that healing isn't just about understanding your autism — it’s about integrating all parts of you and helping you thrive in your relationships, career, and personal life.
If you're ready to begin your journey of self-discovery and transformation, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
Healing & Transformation
My approach is holistic, compassionate, and empowering—rooted in the belief that healing happens when we reconnect with ourselves, challenge limiting narratives, nourish our bodies, and develop new ways of experiencing the world. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—whether that’s due to anxiety, past trauma, relationship struggles, or simply the weight of trying to hold it all together. Many of my clients are high-achieving and outwardly successful, yet privately they’re wrestling with self-doubt, burnout, or a sense that something is missing. Some are navigating big transitions like breakups, career changes, or identity shifts; others are finally ready to unpack old wounds that have been quietly shaping their lives for years. In our work together, I blend evidence-based therapy with the healing practices of Kundalini yoga and breathwork, using movement, meditation, and conscious breathing to help regulate the nervous system, reconnect with the body, and release emotional blocks. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are self-aware, curious, and open to growth—even if they don’t have it all figured out yet. If you're looking for a space that feels grounded, nonjudgmental, and real, I’d be honored to support you as you explore your story and begin to create more clarity, peace, and connection in your life.
If you're ready to step into a more empowered version of yourself, I’m here to support you on that journey

My Story
For years, I felt like something about the way my mind worked was different—but I couldn’t find the words to explain it. I had the quiet sense that I wasn’t being seen, not even by the therapists I worked with.
Then, after facing burnout in community mental health, I turned to a career counselor who connected me with a psychologist. Two long days of assessment later, I had a diagnosis: Autism Spectrum, Level I (formerly Asperger's). But with it came a heavy weight of assumptions—the psychologist told me I shouldn’t work with people. My supervisor echoed the same outdated belief: that an autistic mind couldn’t connect with a human heart.
But I didn’t accept that.
I fought through the challenges with resilience and eventually earned my licensure. Along the way, I became a guide for others—children, teens, and adults—each one with their own unique complexity and strength.
What helped me move forward wasn’t just my perseverance. It was the grace of a therapist who saw me as whole, not broken. With their guidance in EMDR and hypnotherapy, I found space to heal, to reclaim my story, and to build the life I wanted.
Now, I’m here to offer that same grace and understanding to you. Together, we can navigate your own journey with authenticity, strength, and compassion—no judgment, just healing.
